Terms & Conditions

Bubbles & Breathe Swim Schools- Dunmow & Halstead pools

Nappies - We have a double nappy policy

All children that are not toilet trained have to wear the double nappy system, this is a water disposable nappy covered by a neoprene nappy with snug thigh cuffs in order to keep any possible debris from entering the pool. Teacher can refuse entry to the pool if the double nappy system is not worn. All used nappies are to be taken home with you and not put in the pool bins.

Refunds and Cancellations - Bubbles & Breathe due to high upfront pool rental cannot refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. We may be able to offer alternative lessons but this is dependent on availability.

Should lessons be cancelled due to adverse pool conditions (temperature, chemical levels, polluted environment) alternative class will be issued.

Car parking

We only have spaces for 12 cars and only when parked considerately. With 6 to a class we allow for 6 cars to arrive 10 minutes before your lesson time and not before. There will be 10 minutes to change and allow for the next class to arrive. Only one car per family please.

Adverse Weather

Bubbles & Breathe is under no obligation to refund lessons that may be missed due to local adverse weather when the venue and environs are safe and accessible and lessons are held.

Use of Pool Venue

Please respect the pool venue as a private residential property

Only use the designated paths to access the pool building, cutting across property could be potentially dangerous. Pool plant equipment is situated around these areas and can cause injury.

The residential property is not for general use. Please be conscious that this is a private dwelling and to keep off the grass.

Any damage occurred to the pool venue will incur a charge, clients and their children should not tamper with any fittings and fixtures including towel rails, heaters and insulation.

Smoking is not permitted in any area including pool hall, gardens and car park.

No food is permitted on the premises.

Video and Photography

Whilst the family atmosphere we encourage means that parents, carers, grandparents and friends should feel very comfortable taking photographs or video footage, we would ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stops filming should they be asked to do so.

We would like to be able to use these photographs for promotional and publicity purposes. Please indicate when acknowledging these conditions whether you do not consent to our sharing any photograph on the internet, on social media or in any other promotional material. Illness

Should your child have, or develop, any known or suspected medical condition, you must please consult your doctor before bringing them swimming and inform our office via email or text. All information received is treated in confidence and with sensitivity.

Never bring your child swimming if they have any illness such as an ear infection, diarrhoea, vomiting, chicken pox, impetigo, conjunctivitis or a bad cold. Please wait until your doctor has given the all-clear before returning to classes.

In the instance of sickness and diarrhoea your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a lesson.

Our teachers may refuse entry to the pool if they reasonably believe that your child is not well enough to participate.

You are responsible for the safe supervision of any children you bring at all times: on poolside, in the changing rooms and on the pool premises. They should always be under the direct supervision of an adult and never be left unattended. Children running on wet surfaces can very easily slip and hurt themselves.
